A few announcements: First, we'd like to announce that we've joined Astro Panda Productions, which is a sort of podcast collective run by one of our old military buddies. So, this partnership has opened up a few doors for us, which includes the ad you heard a the top of the show. Early on, we wanted the show to be community driven, which is why we set up the Patreon account. However, that hasn't been able to keep up with our growth, which is a good thing. It means you guys are helping us spread the word about the show and we appreciate that. And so, in order to keep the show free for everyone, you'll hear an ad at the top and bottom of the show, as well as in the middle, depending on how long the episode is. If you still want an ad free show, there will be options available to you as well, most likely through Patreon. I haven't decided how I want to implement that yet, but I'm currently looking into Patreon's new RSS feed feature. Stay tuned for more info on that. Also, be sure to head over to AstroPandaProductions.com to check out other shows on the network. I'm currently digging Scream and the Screens, which is a show that talks all things film, including movie news and rumors.
In any case to mark all these changes, we've decided to do a call-in episode to celebrate the move, but since we didn't give much notice, none of you guys called. That's ok…we talked with Eddie Machete from FIRST JASON, as well as the Producer of Friday the 13th Part 3 In Memoriam/Documentary Project Sean Richards.

Listener Mail
“Just started listening to your podcast and love it! On CBP006 when talking about the quality of the 3D, it sounded like you guys might have watched it on DVD so you saw the anaglyph (red/blue) version. When it was originally in theaters it was shown in polarized 3D and was really good quality, I thought the 3D was great. Love the show.”
“Hey guys, As everyone else who listens to you love the podcast! That being said I know the creators of Jason (and E) refer to him as a “hydrocephalic mongoloid pinhead” but he seems more like one of those Chernobyl birth defect children more than anything, in my opinion anyway. For the new movie they should still set it in ‘modern times', but I would find it interesting if we spend more time in the town surrounding the lake, in retrospect all the townspeople are probably so secluded from the outside world that they are some form of crazy Ralph or another. I am really glad all of you are talking about the state of the franchise, as you can see by my email, I don't want to see the slasher genre to die! Observing this in my generation (millennial) it seems that in regards to horror movies it seems that the go to is paranormal activity (which lets be clear suck, again my opinion), I just REALLY want to see the resurgence of the slasher genre! Thank you all for your military service to our country.”
